- Prices and online card rates from shopify.com/au/pricing and Plus pricing, checked October 2026, on yearly billing. Plus is $3,700 a month on a 3-year term ($4,000 on a 1-year term). Its rates are negotiable, and Shopify may charge larger Plus shops a share of revenue instead.
- Advanced and Plus can pay you in the customer’s currency for 1.5% or 1% respectively, instead of the 2% conversion. That only helps if the currency is spent or converted cheaply. On Plus, a US company pays 2.25% on US cards (shopify.com/pricing) and is paid in US dollars; it needs its own bank account and US tax filings. Shopify Help: selling with multiple entities
- Counts card sales through Shopify only. Leaves out the 30c fee, Amex, PayPal, in-person sales, GST, trade orders paid by bank transfer, any Shopify fee for a second company, US sales tax and duties.
